The PROMETEUS helmet is a specialist solution for people working on electrical installations where insulation up to 1000 V A.C. and 1500 V D.C. is required. The design based on a PC/ABS shell and an internal foam lining provides cushioning and stability during prolonged use.
The product is equipped with an integrated, retractable face shield with a thickness of 2.3 mm and a two-stage lock. The visor has coatings protecting against scratching (K) and fogging (N), and also provides protection against the effects of an electric arc in accordance with the GS-ET-29 standard (APC 1 / Class 1). The helmet is resistant to molten metal splashes (MM), lateral deformation (LD) and low temperatures down to -30°C.
The adjustment system using a knob allows the helmet to be fitted within the range of 53-63 cm. Stability during work at height is guaranteed by a 4-point chin strap, and comfort of use is enhanced by a wide, replaceable textile sweatband.
