Work trousers from the POLYTECH series are designed for workers exposed to continuous exposure to multiple hazards. Thanks to the use of a two-layer fabric with Lenzing™ FR fibres, the clothing provides protection against flames, convective heat, radiation, contact heat and small splashes of molten metal and liquid chemicals.
The design of the trousers includes six practical pockets with flap closures fastened with hook and loop, which makes it easy to store tools and personal items. Profiled knee reinforcements increase resistance to abrasion in the areas most exposed to wear, and double seams increase the mechanical strength of the entire construction. Sewn-in reflective tape around the legs improves the user's visibility in low light.
The material has antistatic properties and a NAQUA finish that provides water resistance. The clothing is certified for use in combination with the Polytech Plus 2/2 MC5814 jacket and meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425, offering class 2 electric arc protection (7 kA).
